Cristiano Ronaldo continues to make history in the Saudi Pro League, guiding Al-Nassr to their eighth consecutive victory. Despite not lifting the title last season, the Portuguese superstar is showcasing his dominance once again — this time by scoring in six consecutive matches and reaching a stunning milestone of 100 goal contributions in the league.
Al-Nassr Shine After a Goalless First Half
The match against Neom started slowly for Al-Nassr, with both Ronaldo and his Portuguese compatriot Joao Felix missing key chances in the first half. However, the breakthrough came right after the interval.
In the 48th minute, his powerful free-kick struck the defensive wall, rebounding perfectly for Angelo, who slotted the ball into the net to open the scoring.
Ronaldo’s leadership on the pitch kept Al-Nassr’s momentum strong. “We’re enjoying every game, staying focused on winning — that’s what matters most,” he said after the match.
Ronaldo’s Penalty Seals the Win and His Milestone
The game turned in Al-Nassr’s favor when Luciano Rodriguez received a red card following a VAR review for elbowing Boushal in the face. Taking full advantage of the extra man, Al-Nassr doubled their lead soon after.
In the 62nd minute, Ronaldo calmly converted a penalty after Doucoure fouled Felix inside the box. With that goal, the 39-year-old reached a total of 83 goals and 17 assists in the Saudi Pro League — marking 100 direct goal contributions.
“Ronaldo keeps proving why he’s one of the greatest — his consistency is unmatched,” said Al-Nassr coach Luis Castro.
Late Drama, But Al-Nassr Stay on Top
Neom managed to pull one back in the 84th minute, but Al-Nassr responded almost instantly. A combined move between Ronaldo and Sadio Mane was blocked, only for Felix to collect the rebound and fire home from distance, sealing a 3-1 victory.
With this win, Al-Nassr remain at the top of the Saudi Pro League table with 24 points from 8 matches, three points ahead of Al-Taawoun in second place.
Ronaldo’s journey in Saudi Arabia continues to set new records, and his hunger for success shows no signs of slowing down. Fans now await to see how far the legend can push Al-Nassr’s unbeaten run this season.
