3- Noor Ahmed
Afghanistan’s young spinner Noor Ahmed bowled brilliantly for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025. Noor Ahmed took 20 wickets in 12 matches this season at an average of over 17. Not only this, he took a 4-wicket haul against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Noor Ahmed bowled lethally not only in the middle overs but also in the death overs. Chennai Super Kings included Noor Ahmed in their team for Rs 10 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction.
2- Dewald Brevis
South African aggressive batsman Dewald Brevis was included in the team by Chennai Super Kings in place of injured Gurjpanit Singh. Dewald Brevis played in the IPL for the Mumbai Indians in the 2022 and 2024 seasons.
Dewald Brevis scored 42 runs in his first match of IPL 2025, while in the second match, he played a valuable innings of 32 runs. The young player also played a match-winning innings of 52 runs in 25 balls against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Dewald Brevis scored 291 runs in 10 innings in SA20, 2025.
1- Ayush Mhatre
Ayush Mhatre was included in the team by Chennai Super Kings in place of Rituraj Gaikwad. Rituraj was captaining the Chennai team this season. However, after getting injured, Chennai Super Kings again appointed Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the captain of their team.
In his IPL debut, Ayush Mhatre played a stormy innings of 32 runs in 15 balls, giving Chennai Super Kings a great start. In 5 matches, Ayush Mhatre scored 163 runs at a strike rate 181. He also made headlines by playing an excellent innings of 94 runs in 48 balls against RCB.
