Barcelona Super Cup ambitions gathered unstoppable momentum as Hansi Flick’s men delivered a ruthless 5-0 demolition of Athletic Bilbao to storm into the Spanish Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia.
Barcelona Super Cup First-Half Blitz
Barca needed just 16 devastating minutes to put the semi-final beyond doubt at King Abdullah Sports City. After early pressure, Ferran Torres broke the deadlock in the 21st minute with a powerful strike from distance. Moments later, Fermín López doubled the lead with a composed finish inside the box.
The Catalans kept coming. A slick passing move allowed Rooney Bardghji to slot home in the 34th minute before Raphinha unleashed a thunderous effort four minutes later to make it 4-0.

Barcelona Super Cup Cruise After the Break
Bilbao briefly threatened before halftime when a rare effort struck the post, but Barca never lost control. Seven minutes into the second half, Raphinha struck again with a fierce shot from inside the area to complete his brace and seal the 5-0 rout.
The Brazilian was later substituted to rapturous applause as Barcelona eased off, conserving energy for the final.
“𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒖𝒏𝒈𝒓𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒔𝒆𝒕,” 𝑹𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒉𝒂 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅.

Barcelona Super Cup glory is now firmly within reach.
