The World Cup is just months away, with the 2026 tournament set to kick off on June 12 across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Excitement is surging among football fans worldwide, and Bangladeshi supporters now have a chance to secure their place in the stands.

As a non-participating nation, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has been allocated 330 tickets for the FIFA World Cup. Following a National Team Committee meeting, BFF Senior Vice President Imrul Hasan confirmed that the application window will remain open until January 22.

According to a BFF press release, six groups are eligible to apply, including federation officials, sponsors, football supporters, current and former national players, and sports journalists.

Applications must be submitted in person at the BFF building in Motijheel between January 18 and 22 at 4 PM. Each applicant can request a maximum of two tickets and must provide a completed form, passport copy, photograph, visiting card, and proof of bank deposit.

The federation has distributed tickets across various stages of the tournament. A total of 162 tickets are available for 13 group-stage matches, while additional allocations cover the Round of 32, Last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final.

High-demand fixtures such as Brazil vs Argentina and marquee teams like France, Germany, Spain, and England are expected to draw strong interest.
