Young all-rounder Vipraj Nigam, who made his IPL debut with Delhi Capitals in 2025, shared how the tournament has transformed his life and boosted his cricketing journey. At just 20 years of age, the uncapped player from Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh, has impressed with his dual performances with both bat and ball this season.
Nigam, who was signed by DC for ₹50 lakh, expressed his gratitude for the exposure he received in the league, especially while sharing the dressing room with some of the biggest names in world cricket.

He praised the Delhi Capitals coaching staff for providing clarity about his role as an all-rounder and consistently backing his abilities from the start.

Vipraj Nigam’s Role Clearly Defined from the Start
From the early stages of training and practice matches, Nigam said his role in the team was clearly defined. He appreciated how the team management maintained focus on developing both aspects of his game.
The youngster also credited his childhood coach for playing a crucial role in shaping his cricketing mindset.

He also highlighted his time at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) as a pivotal moment in his development as a bowler. Originally known for his batting, the training at NCA helped him enhance both skills equally.
As his debut IPL season continues, Vipraj Nigam stands out as one of the emerging all-rounders to watch, combining raw talent with a hunger to grow.
