Sammy urges right process after West Indies player allegations

West Indies head coach Daren Sammy has emphasized the importance of following the correct procedures after allegations of sexual assault were made against a West Indies player. While he expressed that “justice must be served,” Sammy stressed that the appropriate legal process should be respected.

A recent report by the Guyana-based Kaieteur News revealed that multiple women had come forward with accusations against the unnamed cricketer, with some claims reportedly dating back to 2023. However, no formal charges have yet been filed.

On the Age of Allegations and CWI’s Role

When questioned about the age of some allegations, Sammy replied,
