The curtain will soon be lifted on the new Test captain of Team India. However, cricket legends are still busy giving their opinions. The latest statement in this regard has been given by former Team India coach Ravi Shastri. Shastri said that he does not want Jaspreet Bumrah to be made the captain of Team India. He has also given the reason behind this.
Shastri has named Shubman Gill as the real contender for captaincy, while he also named Rishabh Pant during this time. The former coach believes that both these players have a lot of time to learn. Ravi Shastri says that if you make Jasprit Bumrah the Test captain, you will lose him as a bowler.
