Rajshahi Star maintained their winning momentum in the Bangladesh Women’s Football League with a commanding 7-0 victory over Sanjidar Police FC on Saturday night. After going scoreless in the first two matches despite back-to-back wins, national team icon Rituparna Chakma finally found the net, scoring twice to lead her side.

The much-anticipated clash kicked off at 7 pm and lived up to expectations early on. Rajshahi seized control quickly, with Rituparna striking in the 9th and 12th minutes to give her team a 2-0 lead at the break.

The fourth round of the league witnessed five matches and an avalanche of goals across venues. Ansar VDP cruised past Nasrin Sporting Academy, powered by Umhela Marma’s five-goal haul, although the defending champions managed to score once.

Another thrilling encounter saw Uttara Khatun score a double hat-trick in an 18-goal spectacle, earning her the Man of the Match award.

Sadhya Pushkarani dismantled Dhaka Rangers 7-0, with Jhinuk netting four goals, while Farashganj SC overwhelmed Siraj Smriti 9-0. Shamsunnahar Junior starred with four goals, and Maria Manda added a hat-trick.
