Delhi Capitals signed Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman in place of Australian batsman Jack Fraser McGurk for the remainder of IPL 2025. It was announced at around four o’clock that Mustafizur Rahman will be the temporary replacement for Delhi Capitals for the remainder of the 18th season of IPL.
However, a few hours after the announcement, he had to leave for UAE with the Bangladesh team. In such a situation, questions are arising whether Mustafizur, who was signed for Rs 6 crore, will have to leave IPL? Will he be seen playing the remaining matches for Delhi Capitals in this season of IPL?
Actually, Mustafizur Rahman was selected by Delhi Capitals, but on the same evening he was on a flight to Dubai with the Bangladesh team, where the team has to play a two-match T20 International series against UAE. In such a situation, everyone must be thinking that Mustafizur Rahman may not play in IPL 2025.
Bangladesh board gave a big statement regarding Mustafizur Rahman
This can also happen, because Cricbuzz reports that the Bangladesh Cricket Board i.e. BCB is keeping an eye on the recent border tension between India and Pakistan. Due to this, the IPL was also postponed. Meanwhile, a top BCB official told Cricbuzz,
