Flamengo have made a renewed push in the Lucas Paquetá Transfer, submitting a fresh offer worth more than €41 million (£35.5m) for West Ham midfielder Lucas Paquetá.
The latest proposal is understood to have been made verbally, with negotiations ongoing as the January transfer deadline approaches. The 28-year-old is keen on completing the Lucas Paquetá Transfer and returning to Brazil with Flamengo before the window closes.
West Ham United are open to sanctioning the Lucas Paquetá Transfer, but only if an agreement can be reached that would see the Brazilian remain at London Stadium on loan until the end of the season. Paquetá currently has 18 months remaining on his contract.
Interestingly, West Ham have enjoyed a recent upturn in form without Paquetá, winning three consecutive matches for the first time since 2023 while he has been unavailable. Despite that run, the Hammers remain in 18th place and inside the relegation zone of the Premier League.
Talks over the Lucas Paquetá Transfer are expected to continue in the coming days as both clubs look to reach a compromise before the deadline.
