Karun Nair played his last Test match for India in 2017. He was dropped from the team soon after becoming India’s second triple century maker. The world around him thought all hope was lost, but Nair did not give up hope of making a comeback. This hope forced him to return to the ways of playing cricket and joining the Northamptonshire team in English county cricket was the first sensible step towards this.
