CSA Denies South African Players for IPL 2025 Playoffs: BCCI Responds

The 18th season of IPL 2025 was halted midway due to tension on the border between India and Pakistan. After the announcement of ceasefire, the situation between the two countries is normal now, due to which IPL is going to start again from 17 May. The league stage round matches will be played till 27 May. After this, Qualifier-1 and Eliminator will be held on 29 and 30 May and then Qualifier-2 will be held on 1 June and the final will be held on 3 June.

According to the earlier schedule, the final was to be held on 25 May, but due to the change in schedule, many teams will have to face problems. Because the World Test Championship final will be played from 11-15 June. Due to national duty, it is difficult for Australian and South African players to play till the IPL final.

The Australian Cricket Board has left it up to its players to decide if they want to play the entire IPL. But the South African Cricket Board has ordered its players to return home by May 26.
