The 58th match of IPL 2025 between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals has been cancelled. Actually, today i.e. on 8 May, Pakistan tried to attack military bases in 15 cities of India, due to which this decision has been taken. India’s S-400 air defense system stopped this attack. At the same time, India retaliated and destroyed Pakistan’s air defense system in Lahore through drones.
Dharamshala is also one of these 15 cities. According to the report, a drone was also seen in Dharamshala and this is the reason why the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals was cancelled. In the match, during the 11th over of Punjab’s innings, when Priyansh Arya was out, after that when Shreyas Iyer came to bat on the field, the match was stopped at that time.
Talking about the match, Punjab Kings won the toss and decided to bat first. Punjab Kings scored 122 runs in 10.1 overs losing one wicket in this match. Both the openers of Punjab Kings batted aggressively and attacked the bowlers of the opposing team.
