The SAFF Women’s and Men’s Futsal Championships continue in Bangkok, Thailand, where the SAFF Executive Committee convened on Saturday before unveiling the official draw for the upcoming SAFF U-20 Championship.
The youth tournament will take place in Male, Maldives, from March 25 to April 3, with all seven SAFF member nations competing. Bangladesh has been placed in Group B, alongside regional heavyweights India and Pakistan, setting up a high-profile group stage.

India, Pakistan Groups Finalized as Maldives Make History
Group A features the host nation Maldives, joined by Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
The tournament also marks a milestone, as the Maldives hosts its first-ever age-group SAFF event.

Meanwhile, India discussions are ongoing in Bangkok regarding the venue for this year’s SAFF Championship, with Bangladesh expressing interest in hosting the flagship tournament later this year.
