The latest ICC Women’s World Cup Player Rankings saw several top performers from the ongoing ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 make impressive gains. With the league stage wrapped up, players from semi-finalist nations — Australia, India, South Africa, and England — have made notable progress across batting, bowling, and all-rounder categories.
Ashleigh Gardner Dominates ICC Women’s World Cup Rankings
The biggest highlight of this week’s update is Australia’s Ashleigh Gardner, who continues her phenomenal run by breaking into the top three across all major lists. Gardner climbed six spots to second in the batters’ chart, holds third among bowlers, and remains the No. 1 all-rounder in the world.
“𝑨𝒔𝒉𝒍𝒆𝒊𝒈𝒉 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒏𝒆𝒓’𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 — 𝒔𝒉𝒆’𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉-𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒏 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒅𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕,” 𝒂𝒏 𝑰𝑪𝑪 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅.
Her rise comes after a stunning unbeaten 104 in Australia’s tense chase against England, where she guided her team from 68/4 to victory. Her partner in that innings, Annabel Sutherland, also gained significantly, soaring 16 positions to a career-best 16th in batting, seventh in bowling, and fourth among all-rounders.
Indian and English Stars Make Major Gains
India’s young batting sensation Pratika Rawal continues to impress, amassing 308 runs before being sidelined with an ankle injury. Her stellar form lifted her 12 spots to a career-high 27th in the batting rankings.
England, too, saw multiple players surge in the charts following their dominant eight-wicket win over New Zealand. Amy Jones jumped four spots to ninth, while Tammy Beaumont climbed seven places to 14th among batters. On the bowling front, Sophie Ecclestone retained her world No. 1 ranking, while Charlie Dean advanced to 12th in bowling and 13th among all-rounders.
“𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒅’𝒔 𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔,” 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒂 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒓 𝑰𝑪𝑪 𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒚𝒔𝒕.
Elsewhere, Australia’s Alana King was the standout bowler of the week, rising five spots to second place after a record-breaking 7/18 against South Africa — the best figures of the tournament so far.
South Africa’s veteran Marizanne Kapp edged up to fourth, while Pakistan’s Nashra Sundhu joined hands with Nonkululeko Mlaba at 10th. Notably, New Zealand’s Lea Tahuhu moved up to 15th, and India’s pace trio — Renuka Thakur, Kranti Gaud, and Sree Charani — all surged into the top 30.
England’s Lauren Bell (24th), South Africa’s Masabata Klaas (31st), and Linsey Smith (up 24 places to 36th) were also among the climbers in this latest ICC update.
