FIFA has officially named TikTok its first-ever “preferred video platform” for the World Cup, making it a key digital partner for the global tournament.

As part of the FIFA partnership, content creators will receive unprecedented opportunities. FIFA confirmed that World Cup broadcast rights holders can livestream parts of the tournament’s 104 matches through a dedicated TikTok hub.
Creators will also be allowed to reuse and remix official FIFA archive footage, opening the door to fresh storytelling formats.
