The Bangladesh women’s futsal team, fresh from winning the inaugural SAFF Futsal title in Thailand, will return home to a hero’s reception. The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has arranged an open-top bus parade to celebrate the Sabinas champions as they travel from the airport through the city, greeting fans along the way.

Hatirjheel Felicitation Planned by BFF

The victory parade will conclude at the Hatirjheel Amphitheater, where the players will be formally honored in a special ceremony. Sabinas, the team will then stay overnight at a BFF-managed hotel before departing for their respective destinations the following day.

This celebration continues a growing tradition, as the women’s football team previously received similar receptions after winning the SAFF Championship in 2022 and again in 2024. However, discussions remain ongoing regarding the long-promised financial incentives announced after last year’s triumph.
