The Champion SabinaΒ arrived back in Bangladesh on Thursday evening after completing an unbeaten run to win the inaugural womenβs futsal tournament in Bangkok. From the airport, the squad was paraded through the city on an open-top bus before being welcomed at Hatirjheel Amphitheater with a spectacular, hour-long ceremony filled with lights and cheers.
Despite the grand celebration, no financial reward or special incentive was announced by the federation for the historic achievement.
