Bangladesh Pakistan T20I

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced that all proceeds from the third T20I between Bangladesh and Pakistan will be donated to support the victims of the recent jet crash at Milestone College in Uttara, as well as to the July Shaheed Smrity Foundation. The tragic incident has already claimed the lives of at least 30 people, with over 170 injured, prompting a heartfelt response from the cricket board.

Bangladesh Clinch Historic T20I Series Win Over Pakistan

Despite the emotional backdrop, Bangladesh secured their first-ever T20I series win against Pakistan, claiming victories in the first two games by 7 wickets and 8 runs, respectively. Stellar performances came from Parvez Hossain Emon (56* off 39) and Jaker Ali (55 off 48), both earning Player of the Match awards.

However, the hosts couldn’t complete a clean sweep, falling to a 74-run defeat in the final game at Dhaka. Sahibzada Farhan anchored Pakistan’s innings with 63 off 41 balls, helping them post 178/7. Bangladesh’s batting collapsed under pressure, managing only 104 in 16.4 overs. Mohammad Saifuddin (35* off 34) was the lone bright spot in an otherwise disappointing chase.

“𝑾𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆’𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒓𝒐𝒘,” 𝒔𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝒂 𝑩𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒍𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒉 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒕-𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉.
