Bangladesh womenβs futsal team delivered a commanding performance in their third match of the SAFF Womenβs Futsal Championship in Bangkok on Monday, cruising to a 3-0 win over Nepal. The victory followed a draw against Bhutan and further strengthened their push for the tournament title.
Captain Sabina Khatun once again led from the front, opening the scoring in the first half. With that strike, she took her tally to four goals in three matches, having netted twice in the opener and added one goal in each of the next two games. Krishna Rani Sarkar doubled the lead with a stunning long-range effort after controlling the ball and firing past the Nepal goalkeeper.

Bangladesh continued to dominate after the break, forcing Nepalβs goalkeeper into repeated saves. The third goal came when Lipi Akhtar smashed home a powerful strike from outside the box, set up by Sumaiyaβs free-kick. Goalkeeper Jhili ensured a clean sheet with several sharp stops as Nepal attempted a late response.
With this result, Bangladesh now sit on seven points from three matchesβafter beating India, drawing with Bhutan, and defeating Nepalβplacing them firmly in contention for the championship.
