Bangladesh delivered a stunning response at the SAFF Women’s and Men’s Futsal Tournament in Bangkok, Thailand, as the women’s team crushed Pakistan 9-1, avenging the men’s 5-1 defeat from the previous day.

Seven nations are competing in both the men’s and women’s tournaments, with the team collecting the most points after six matches crowned champion. Bangladesh now sits on top of the women’s table with 13 points from five games, while India follows in second with nine points from four matches.
Bangladesh made their intentions clear early, racing to a commanding 6-0 lead by halftime — the highest number of goals conceded by any team in a first half during the tournament. Captain Sabina Khatun both opened and closed the scoring, with Nusrat Jora, Nila, and Krishna also finding the net.
