Fan’s Funny Request to Sai Sudharsan During Delhi Test

On Day 3 of the second Test against the West Indies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Sudharsan was seen resting near the boundary after sustaining a finger injury the previous day. A viral clip captured him enjoying a burger when a fan made a cheeky request from the stands.

“𝑮𝒖𝒋𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒆 𝒏𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒍 𝒋𝒂𝒐, 𝑪𝑺𝑲 𝒎𝒆𝒊𝒏 𝒛𝒂𝒓𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒊! (𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝑮𝒖𝒋𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕 𝑻𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒔, 𝒘𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒕 𝑪𝑺𝑲!)” 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒏, 𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒃𝒚.

Although Sudharsan didn’t respond, the moment quickly spread across social media, with many speculating about his potential future in the Chennai Super Kings camp — especially given his Tamil Nadu roots.

The Chennai-born batter, who represents Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket, has been a key part of the Gujarat Titans’ success story. He even clinched the Orange Cap in IPL 2025, scoring 759 runs in 15 innings at an average of 54.21 and a strike rate of 156.17.

“𝑯𝒆’𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝑮𝒖𝒋𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒔 — 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒎 𝒐𝒇 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒊𝒏 𝒚𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘,” 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒐𝒏 𝑿 (𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒍𝒚 𝑻𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓).

Despite a modest start to his Test career — 140 runs in six innings at 23.33 — Sudharsan showed signs of maturity in Delhi, scoring 87 off 165 balls in the first innings. He remained unbeaten on 30 off 47 balls at stumps on Day 4, with India just 58 runs away from a series-clinching win.
