With less than a month to go, the countdown to the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup has officially begun as tickets are now available for fans. The tournament kicks off on September 30 in Guwahati, marking the start of an exciting cricketing journey across India and Sri Lanka.
Ticketing Phases and Pricing
On Thursday, the ICC confirmed that tickets for all group-stage matches in India and Sri Lanka are live for pre-sale on tickets.cricketworldcup.com. The first phase runs for four days starting September 4 at 19:00 IST and SLST, exclusively via the Google Pay platform. The second phase will open on September 9 at 20:00 IST and SLST (14:30 GMT).

Tickets begin at INR 100 (USD 1.14 approx.), making the matches more accessible for cricket fans worldwide.
Tournament Schedule and Prize Pool
The tournament will feature eight top teams: India, Sri Lanka, England, Australia, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Matches will be held across five venues — Colombo, Guwahati, Indore, Visakhapatnam, and Navi Mumbai.
The opening clash between India and Sri Lanka will take place on September 30 in Guwahati, while the grand final is scheduled for November 2 at a yet-to-be-confirmed venue.

In a major boost for the women’s game, the ICC also announced a prize pool of USD 13.88 million, nearly four times higher than the USD 3.5 million awarded at the previous edition in New Zealand in 2022.
