Jayden Shields’ Six-Wicket Haul Star of the Match
The match summary reveals Pakistan won the toss and chose to bowl first. West Indies posted a total of 294/6 in their 50 overs, thanks to key contributions from Shai Hope (120) and Justin Graves (43). Pakistan’s bowling attack saw Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmad pick up two wickets each, while Sam Ayub and Mohammad Nawaz took one wicket apiece.
When Pakistan came out to chase, they crumbled under pressure. West Indies pacer Jayden Shields was exceptional, claiming 6 wickets for just 18 runs in 7.2 overs, dismantling the Pakistan batting lineup. Fellow bowlers Gudakesh Motie and Roston Chase supported well, taking 2 and 1 wickets respectively.
