Young Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) talent Swastik Chikara recently shared a light-hearted moment with Virat Kohli that’s taken social media by storm. In a viral video, Chikara is seen praising Kohli enthusiastically, but it’s Kohli’s humorous response that stole the show.
Kohli’s Playful Jibe Delights Fans
RCB, one of the top contenders in IPL 2025, wrapped up their league stage with a powerful six-wicket victory over Lucknow Super Giants, securing second place on the points table. As the team gears up for their Qualifier 1 clash against Punjab Kings in Mullanpur, the camaraderie between players is becoming more visible and cherished by fans.
In the video, Swastik shows Kohli a selfie and announces his intention to post it online. Kohli, with a grin, replies:
“𝑫𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒂𝒈 𝒌𝒉𝒂𝒂𝒕𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒉𝒕𝒂 𝒉𝒂𝒊” (𝑯𝒆 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑𝒔 𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒆), 𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅.

Swastik Chikara, a dynamic top-order batter from Uttar Pradesh, was picked by RCB for Rs 30 lakhs in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Although yet to make his debut for the team, he continues to gain attention with his engaging presence off the field.
Meanwhile, RCB’s recent form has been impressive. In their last league game, despite Lucknow Super Giants posting a daunting total of 227/3—thanks to a Rishabh Pant century—RCB chased down the target in just 18.4 overs. Stand-in skipper Jitesh Sharma played a stellar role in the chase, keeping RCB’s title hopes alive.
