An emotional Virat Kohli thanked wife Anushka Sharma after RCB won their first IPL trophy after 18 years. Kohli fondly recalled Anushka’s support through his ups and downs over the years. Virat Kohli had some special words for Bollywood actress and his wife Anushka Sharma after Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lifted the IPL title after a long wait of 18 years. RCB secured a thrilling six-run win against Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, June 3.

After the win, Kohli was in tears of joy and thanked Anushka, who always stood by him and became RCB’s most loyal supporter. Under the leadership of Captain Rajat Patidar and head coach Andy Flower, RCB played cricket with new energy and ended the most talked-about title drought in cricket history.

Virat Kohli said a heart-touching thing for Anushka Sharma

“𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒍. 𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝑪𝑩 𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒆 2014. 𝑰𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒂𝒏 11-𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐𝒐 – 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒖𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒍, 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔, 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒖𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒋𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒓𝒕.”

Anushka Sharma was present at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday, cheering on RCB, hoping to celebrate a victory this time. And that is exactly what happened – RCB defended a score of 190 runs to beat a strong Punjab Kings team.

After the win, Virat Kohli and Anushka shared an emotional hug, and shared this special moment with South African legend and former RCB batsman AB de Villiers. The two friends were extremely emotional on the occasion. Kohli, de Villiers, and Chris Gayle spoke to the broadcasters after the match, where Kohli said that RCB’s win is as much AB and Gayle’s as it is his.
