Trinbago Knight Riders Win Fifth Straight in CPL 2025

Kieron Pollard and Nicholas Pooran powered Trinbago Knight Riders to their fifth consecutive victory in CPL 2025, defeating St Kitts and Nevis Patriots by 12 runs in Tarouba.

Explosive Partnership Turns the Game

Knight Riders stumbled early at 78 for 3, but Pollard (65 off 23) and Pooran (52 off 38) changed the momentum with a blistering 90-run stand. Pollard smashed eight sixes, including four in a row against Waqar Salamkheil.

Patriots Falter After Bright Start

Patriots began well with Andre Fletcher (67) and Evin Lewis (42) adding 96 for the opening wicket. But once they fell, the chase crumbled. Nathan Edward’s 3 for 30 and Mohammad Amir’s 2 for 29 sealed the win.

The result keeps Knight Riders at the top of the table with six wins in seven, while Patriots slipped further with their third straight loss.
