Travis Head’s latest COVID-19 report has come negative and he is ready to play against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Head could not play the last match against Lucknow Super Giants due to being COVID-19 positive.

Travis Head has been declared fit ahead of the upcoming match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, which was confirmed by Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling coach James Franklin during the press conference. He informed,

“𝑨𝒔 𝒇𝒂𝒓 𝒂𝒔 𝑰 𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘, 𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒆𝒄𝒍𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒇𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒉𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.”

Travis Head has had a poor performance with the bat in IPL 2025, scoring 281 runs in 11 matches at a strike rate of 156.11. He performed brilliantly for Hyderabad last season and played a big role in SRH reaching the final.

Why is the RCB vs SRH match being played at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow?

The match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad was scheduled to be played on May 23 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru as per the schedule. But considering the weather conditions, the RCB vs SRH match will be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Where the RCB team is going to play its last league match against Lucknow Super Giants on May 27. Bangalore’s last match was at home against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 17, which was canceled due to heavy rain.
