Tiger Woods’ Jupiter Links GC and Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf have been relegated from the TGL after failing to reach the play-offs.
Boston had to beat New York on Monday night to make the play-offs but lost 10-6 after Cameron Young, Rickie Fowler and Xander Schauffele made five points in the final four holes.
Schauffele ‘thrown the hammer’ on the 12th hole – which increased the hole’s point total from one point to two – and made birdie to beat Adam Scott.
Cameron Young then beat McIlroy, which meant Boston needed two more points on the final hole to force overtime.

The result also ended Jupiter Links GC’s hopes of reaching the play-offs, as New York booked their place alongside Los Angeles Golf Club, The Bay Golf Club and Atlanta Drive GC.
Los Angeles Golf Club, who top the Sofi Cup standings, will face fourth-placed New York in the semi-finals, while The Bay Golf Club will face Atlanta Drive GC in the matches scheduled for March 17-18.
