Relentless Police Side Outclass Kings Once Again

Police

The Police will continue in the Bangladesh Football League as they secured a comfortable 3-0 away victory against Arambagh at the Shaheed Miraj Tapan Stadium in Manikganj on Friday. It was the only league fixture of the day, and the visitors made full use of the opportunity.

Police took firm control of the match in the first half. Nepalese forward Ayush Ghalan opened the scoring in the 36th minute, before Amirul doubled the lead just five minutes later. The early dominance left the hosts struggling to recover.

Seven minutes into the second half, Ghalan struck again to seal the contest. With no further goals, the police walked off with a deserved three-goal margin.

League Table Shifts as Police Title Race Heats Up

With this result, Police climbed to third place with 13 points from eight matches, though their position could change if Rahmatganj picks up points in their next fixture.

For Arambagh, the defeat deepens their struggles. They have now lost five of their eight matches and remain joint-bottom of the table with Fakirerpul on five points. Under current league regulations, both teams are set for relegation this season.
