Earlier, Jack Taylorโs 63 and van Buurenโs 44 had lifted Gloucestershire to 241 in their first innings, giving them a small lead. Northamptonshire, despite Saif Zaibโs 76, were bundled out for 192 in their second innings, thanks to Ajeet Singh Daleโs 4 for 46 and Ben Charlesworthโs 3 for 6.
Northants Falter Under Pressure
Only Justin Broadโs patient 49 kept Northamptonshire afloat, but once he fell lbw to Singh Dale, the visitors collapsed. Injuries to Luke Procter and a hamstring setback for Broad further hurt their chances.
Price and Charlesworth set the tone with a 52-run partnership, while Hammondโs late aggression sealed the result with an emphatic six down the ground.
