Trinbago Knight Riders ended their five-year wait for a CPL trophy, with captain Nicholas Pooran crediting team belief over tactics for the historic win. It was Pooranβs first title in 12 CPL seasons.

After defeating Guyana Amazon Warriors in the final, Pooran said:

Veterans Step Up
Despite criticism for fielding an older squad, TKRβs senior players delivered. Akeal Hosein, 32, was Player of the Match, while 38-year-old Kieron Pollard claimed Player of the Tournament.
