Kylian Mbappé, Real Madrid’s leading scorer this season, has been forced to miss a crucial stage of the campaign due to injury. The French superstar, who has been in sensational form, has been ruled out after suffering a knee problem at a vital moment for Los Blancos.

As a result, Mbappé did not travel with the squad to Saudi Arabia and will miss the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Atlético Madrid, as well as any potential final.

Despite his absence, the forward showed strong support for his teammates. In a message sent to the squad, Mbappé said, “Good luck to the team. I have 1000 percent faith in you. We will win. Go ahead, Madrid!”
