Harry Kane capped off 2025 in spectacular fashion by etching his name into Bundesliga history. The Bayern Munich striker became the fastest player ever to reach 100 goal contributions in Germany’s top division, rewarding himself just before the Christmas break.
Bayern strengthened their grip on the league summit with a commanding 4-0 victory over Heidenheim on Sunday, opening up a nine-point lead heading into the new year. Kane, captaining Bayern for the first time, sealed the win by scoring the fourth goal deep into stoppage time.
Josip Stanišić and Michael Olise put Bayern ahead in the first half, while Luis Díaz made it 3-0 late on before Kane delivered the finishing touch.
Kane’s Record-Breaking Century in Fewer Matches
Hary strike marked his 19th Bundesliga goal of the season, taking his league tally for Bayern to 81 goals. Combined with 19 assists, the England captain has now directly contributed to 100 Bundesliga goals.
Remarkably, Kane achieved the milestone in just 78 appearances, smashing the previous record held by Arjen Robben, who reached the century mark in 119 matches.
Reacting after the game, Kane shared his satisfaction on social media, saying:
“𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒘 𝒚𝒆𝒂𝒓. 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒋𝒖𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒍𝒅.”
With 30 goals in 25 matches across all competitions this season, Hary continues to redefine excellence in German football, ending the year as Bayern’s driving force and a record-breaker in the Bundesliga.
