Facundo Torres has officially returned to Major League Soccer after Austin FC secured the Uruguayan winger from Brazilian giants Palmeiras in a reported $9.5 million transfer on Friday.

Facundo Torres Brings Proven Firepower to Austin FC

Torres previously made his mark in MLS with Orlando City SC between 2022 and 2024, where he produced 37 goals and 16 assists across 95 regular-season appearances, establishing himself as one of the league’s most reliable attackers.

During his time in Brazil, the winger added further experience with Palmeiras, registering 10 goals and six assists in 61 matches across domestic competitions.
