Richard Mansell from England won the Porsche Singapore Classic, claiming his first DP World Tour title.

At 29 years old, Mansell, who started his European Tour career in 2021, was one shot behind the leader before the final round of the 54-hole tournament, shortened due to rain on Thursday.

He took the lead by making five birdies in a row starting from the fourth hole and held off Keita Nakajima from Japan to win by one stroke at Laguna National Golf Resort Club.

Mansell made a two-putt birdie from over 100 feet on the 18th hole, finishing with a six-under-par 66 to end at 16 under overall.

“I had to stay patient and just focus on myself,” Mansell said. “This win feels extra special, especially after a few near wins in 2022.”

Nakajima, who made six birdies to score 65, finished just one stroke ahead of Northern Ireland’s Tom McKibbin, playing his first DP Tour event since moving to LIV Golf, and France’s Adrien Saddier, both of whom shot 68.
