Declan Rice made a decisive comeback after missing the midweek clash with Aston Villa due to a knee issue and being listed as a doubt for the weekend. Fully fit again, the Arsenal midfielder delivered a match-winning performance as the Gunners edged AFC Bournemouth 3-2 in a dramatic Premier League encounter.
Arsenal’s victory lifted them to 48 points from 20 matches, keeping them firmly on top of the table and six points clear of closest challengers Aston Villa. Manchester City remain third on 41 points with a game in hand.

Declan Early Setback, Strong Response
The hosts suffered an early blow in the 10th minute when a defensive lapse from Gabriel Magalhaes allowed Evanilson to score into an open net. However, Gabriel quickly made amends, setting up the equaliser just six minutes later with a precise assist from Noni Madueke.
After the break, Declan Rice took control. The England international struck in the 54th minute and added a second in the 71st, putting Arsenal firmly in charge. Bournemouth substitute Elie Junior Croupy pulled one back shortly after, but the late goal was not enough to stop Arsenal’s fifth straight league win.

With rivals continuing to drop points, Arsenal’s resilience and Rice’s timely return have further strengthened their title credentials as the season enters a crucial phase.
