West Ham United are in advanced discussions to terminate Callum Wilson West Ham Contract, with sources indicating an agreement could be reached soon.
The 33-year-old joined the Hammers on a free transfer over the summer, scoring four goals in 18 appearances. However, with the arrivals of forwards Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos, Wilson’s first-team chances have diminished, prompting the club and player to review his situation.
Wilson is reportedly keen to continue playing regular football and is not willing to take a peripheral role. Talks to release him from the remaining six months of his deal, referred to as Callum Wilson West Ham Contract, are understood to be in the final stages.
Manager Comments on Callum Wilson West Ham Contract
West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed the discussions on Monday:
“Me and Callum have had many conversations. Just ten minutes ago, we were speaking about the situation. Two strikers have joined, and I personally decided these strikers have joined.
Callum is very experienced, and he knows that his position has changed. We were honest with each other. Yes, your position has changed, but you are still a player for the club and may still help us.”
The club is expected to finalise the agreement soon, freeing Wilson to explore new opportunities and extend his playing career.
