BCCI Sponsorship Deal Worth Rs 450 Crore After Dream11 Exit

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is setting ambitious sponsorship goals following Dream11’s early departure as the lead sponsor of India’s national teams. The fantasy sports giant had to withdraw due to the Online Gaming Bill passed in Parliament, leaving the board searching for a new sponsor ahead of the Asia Cup 2025.

Dream11’s Contract Termination

Dream11 had signed a three-year agreement worth Rs 358 crore, but the deal ended prematurely after just two years. This sudden exit has left the BCCI under pressure to secure a new partner in time to print the men’s national team jerseys for upcoming tournaments.

According to sources:

“𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒉 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 2025–2028 𝒄𝒚𝒄𝒍𝒆, 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒏 𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒗𝒂𝒍𝒖𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝑹𝒔 450 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒓𝒆.”

BCCI’s Sponsorship Plans Ahead

The new contract is expected to cover around 140 matches over the next three years, including home and away bilateral series, as well as ICC and ACC multi-nation events. This proposed deal would surpass Dream11’s offer, though still slightly below the sponsorship revenue once generated by Byju’s.

The BCCI has reportedly set revised targets of Rs 3.5 crore per bilateral match and Rs 1.5 crore for ICC and ACC fixtures, indicating a stronger financial strategy.

“𝑫𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔, 𝑩𝑪𝑪𝑰 𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒇𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒔𝒑𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒐𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏’𝒔 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅 𝑪𝒖𝒑 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 30, 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑨𝒔𝒊𝒂 𝑪𝒖𝒑 𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅.”

With these developments, the Indian cricket board appears determined to not only replace Dream11 but also secure a more lucrative deal moving forward.
