Delhi Capitals captain Akshar Patel was unable to participate in the match played against Mumbai Indians due to injury. Due to the unavailability of Akshar Patel in the match played against Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals had to face defeat.

Now the Delhi team has to play its next match against Punjab Kings on 24 May. This match is to be played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. However, there is no confirmation yet about his availability in the upcoming match. After the defeat against Mumbai Indians, the Delhi Capitals team is completely out of the playoff race. However, the Delhi team would definitely want to register a win in their remaining one league match.

In IPL 2025, Axar Patel has scored 263 runs and also took 5 wickets

While playing for Delhi Capitals, Axar Patel has left his mark not only with the bat but also with the bowling. He has performed very well and won the hearts of the fans.

Let us tell you that, all-rounder Axar has so far scored 263 runs in 11 innings in IPL 2025 at an average of above 26 and a strike rate of 157.48, while also taking 5 wickets. It will be interesting to see how quickly he is able to make a comeback?
