Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has sparked speculation about his future after revealing he is open to moves to Spain, Italy, or Portugal. However, the Portuguese midfielder stressed that his priority remains staying at Manchester United — Fernandes wants to feel genuinely valued at the club.

Bruno Fernandes Comments on His Future

In an interview with Portuguese broadcaster Canal 11, Fernandes said:

“I want to stay at Manchester United as long as I feel desired.”

He also shared his ambitions beyond England, showing his interest in experiencing other leagues:

  • Spain & Italy: Fernandes said, “I would like to experience the Spanish league and fight for big titles in Italy. I have many connections to Italy — my daughter was born there.”
  • Return to Portugal: “I’ve already thought about returning to Portugal. Sporting would be my first option. I want to be happy like I was with Sporting, but I don’t want to damage the image I left behind. I want to add to it,” added Fernandes.
  • District Football: Fernandes also mentioned, “Even playing district football at an advanced age would be something I’d consider. You play for love, and it feels different. I have friends there.”

Fernandes recently admitted he was hurt when Manchester United considered selling him last summer after receiving a massive offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal. Despite the opportunity, Fernandes rejected the move, insisting he genuinely loves Manchester United and wants to contribute to the club’s success.
