Harbhajan Backs Kohli

Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh has expressed strong confidence in Virat Kohli ahead of India’s upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia. With Shubman Gill captaining the side and Shreyas Iyer as his deputy, Kohli will be making his return to international cricket after featuring only in the IPL since the Champions Trophy.

Harbhajan highlighted that Kohli thrives in high-pressure situations and often delivers his best performances in crucial moments.

“𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕; 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒃𝒆𝒔𝒕. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝑽𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕 𝑲𝒐𝒉𝒍𝒊 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒔. 𝑯𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒊𝒈 𝒐𝒄𝒄𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕’𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝒉𝒊𝒎 𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔. Harbhajan Expecting Big Performances on Australian Soil

The spinner further noted that Kohli relishes challenges, especially against Australia, which has historically been one of his favorite hunting grounds. Harbhajan predicted that Kohli could score at least two centuries in the three ODIs.

The first ODI of the series is scheduled for October 19 in Perth. While Rohit Sharma will be playing solely as a batter, his experience and leadership are expected to provide vital support to the team.
