South Africa opener Tazmin Brits has climbed two places to secure a career-best fourth position in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Player Rankings. Her remarkable rise follows a scintillating century (101 runs) in South Africa’s six-wicket victory over New Zealand in the ongoing ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
Brits’ latest ton marked her fifth century of the year, making her the first woman cricketer to score five hundreds in a calendar year—a record that highlights her consistency and dominance at the international level.

New Zealand skipper Sophie Devine moved up seven spots to eighth place, equalling her previous career-high after scoring 112 and 85 in consecutive matches. Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Sidra Amin entered the top 10 for the first time, climbing three spots to 10th place following her crucial 81-run knock against India.

On the bowling front, South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp moved up to fifth, while her teammate Nonkululeko Mlaba jumped six places to a career-best 13th following her four-wicket haul versus New Zealand.
Australia’s Alana King climbed from eighth to seventh, and Annabel Sutherland reached her highest-ever 14th place with 570 points, just behind Mlaba.
With the Women’s World Cup entering its crucial phase, the latest ICC rankings reflect the growing competition among top-performing players across teams.
