Hulk Hogan Death: Medical Malpractice Suspected

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan‘s death may have been linked to medical malpractice, according to a new report. TMZ, which first broke news of Hulk’s passing on July 24, cited sources suggesting that errors during a recent surgery could have contributed to the wrestling icon’s death.

Possible Surgical Error Involved

Law enforcement, referencing the Clearwater police report, revealed that an occupational therapist was present at Hulk’s home when he stopped breathing. The therapist reportedly told responding officers that Hogan’s phrenic nerve—a critical nerve in the neck that aids breathing—was allegedly severed during a recent operation.

Hulk’s wife, Sky Daily, confirmed to TMZ that Hogan’s phrenic nerve had indeed been “compromised” during surgery.

“𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒉𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒄 𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒆𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈,” 𝑫𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒚 𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝑻𝑴𝒁.

The report noted that Hulk did not suffer a “chest-clenching” incident before his death, contradicting earlier reports of a heart attack. Hulk had also privately battled chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Family Demands Clarity

Hulk’s estranged daughter, Brooke Hogan, has insisted on a full autopsy, claiming that Clearwater officials pressured her regarding details of the death. Brooke shared on Instagram that officials told her she needs to review body camera footage from the responding officers.

“𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚. 𝑶𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒆 𝑰 𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒐𝒅𝒚 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂 𝒗𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒍𝒖𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒅𝒓𝒂𝒘𝒏,” 𝑩𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅.

While Daily confirmed an autopsy has been completed, she declined to reveal the findings. Hogan’s remains have not yet been cremated, leaving questions about the final circumstances of his death.
