Buchi Babu 2025: Sai Kishore Out, Tamil Nadu Squad Changes

Tamil Nadu’s left-arm spinner and TNCA President’s XI captain, R. Sai Kishore, has been sidelined from the Buchi Babu Tournament 2025 due to an injury, leading to last-minute changes in team leadership. Kishore, who impressed in IPL 2025 playing for Gujarat Titans, was expected to lead the President’s XI. His absence has prompted a reshuffle across both Tamil Nadu squads.

Leadership Changes in TNCA Squads

With Kishore ruled out, Pradosh Ranjan Paul has been appointed captain of the TNCA President’s XI. Originally named skipper of the TNCA XI, Paul will now take over the leadership of the President’s XI, while M. Shahrukh Khan will lead the TNCA XI in his place.

Several players have switched teams following the leadership adjustments. P. Vidyuth and P. Vignesh have moved to the President’s XI, while M. Siddharth joins the TNCA XI due to personal reasons. These changes come after Vignesh Puthur’s notable performance in IPL 2025 with Mumbai Indians.
