Heinrich Klaasen has announced his immediate retirement from international cricket, bringing an end to his illustrious seven-year career with the Proteas men. Klaasen, 33, on Monday announced that he will step away from white-ball formats after retiring from red-ball cricket in 2024.
Klaasen made his One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) debuts in the summer of 2018 and established himself as one of the most destructive white-ball players of his generation.

Well, let us tell you about the cricket career of 33-year-old Heinrich Klaasen. Before retiring from international cricket, he played 4 Tests, 60 ODIs, and 58 T20 matches for the South African national team.
During this period, Klaasen scored 104 runs in Tests at an average of 13 and a strike rate of 45.22, 2141 runs in ODIs at an average of 43.69 and a strike rate of 117.06, and 1000 runs in T20Is at an average of 23.26 and a strike rate of 141.85.
