The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the squad for the upcoming three-match T20 International series against Bangladesh . The selection committee has selected a 16-member team. Salman Ali Agha will lead the team. While veteran batsman Babar Azam, wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan and fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi have not been selected for this T20 series.

All-rounder Shadab Khan has been made the vice-captain for this series. The team also includes experienced white ball cricket players like Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah. Now it remains to be seen how the Pakistan team performs in this series.

All matches will be played in Lahore

The three-match T20 series will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. However, the schedule of the series is yet to be announced. The PCB said that the team has been selected on the basis of the performance of the players in the current PSL 2025. PSL is currently being organized in Pakistan, the final of which will be held on May 25. This will be the first series for Mike Hesson as a coach.

Sam Ayub, who was out of the Champions Trophy due to injury, will now be seen in international cricket for the first time. He played his last international match for Pakistan in December 2024. He scored a century in that match, but after that he got injured and remained away from cricket for a long time. His arrival will strengthen the batting order of the team.
