The 18th season of the IPL has been a nightmare for five-time champions Chennai Super Kings. CSK became the first team to be eliminated from the playoff race. After the first few matches, captain Rituraj Gaikwad got injured and was out for the entire season, after which MS Dhoni took charge but he too could not change the fortunes of the team under his captaincy. Meanwhile, questions have started arising about Dhoni’s future. Many people believe that this could be the last season of Dhoni’s IPL career.
