Royal Challengers Bangalore players and support staff have returned safely to Bengaluru amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan. At a time when the air strikes between the two countries are making headlines, RCB released a statement thanking the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for its prompt action on Saturday.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore team, which had reached Lucknow to play a match against LSG, returned to Bangalore on Saturday. The franchise itself shared the video of RCB reaching Bangalore. Something was seen in this video, and afterward, everyone was surprised. Actually, in this video, every player was sharing the performance of the team and their experience before the IPL was suspended.
Jitesh Sharma was going to captain the match against LSG.
Meanwhile, the team’s wicketkeeper batsman Jitesh Sharma revealed he would captain the team against Lucknow Super Giants. Captain Rajat Patidar was injured in his last match against Chennai Super Kings; he was not ready to play against Lucknow. In such a situation, the team’s command would be given to Jitesh Sharma, not Virat Kohli.
However, Kohli led the team when Patidar was injured against CSK. Jitesh Sharma is seen saying in the video,
