It has been decided in the meeting of Pakistan Cricket Board that the remaining matches of PSL 2025 will be played in Karachi.
While on one hand the Indian Premier League 2025 is being played in India . On the other hand, the Pakistan Super League 2025 tournament is also being played between 6 teams in Pakistan. At present, the tension on the border between India and Pakistan is increasing rapidly. Meanwhile, a big report is coming out regarding the PSL 2025 tournament.
It has been decided in the meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board that the remaining matches of PSL 2025 will be played in Karachi. Not only this, the match to be played today i.e. on 8 May between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings has also been canceled.
However, there is no confirmation yet about when the match will be played between these two teams. Also, all the matches of the tournament will now be played at the National Stadium in Karachi. The schedule for the remaining games has not yet been made public by the Pakistani board, though.
IPL 2025 match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals also got cancelled
On the other hand, this tension on the border between Pakistan and India has now started affecting the cricket tournaments being played in both the countries. Before the PSL matches were shifted, a match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians was to be played on May 11 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala in the ongoing IPL, but due to this tension, this match has been shifted to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Also, if this ongoing dispute between the two countries does not settle down soon, then the Indian Cricket Board along with the Pakistan Cricket Board may also consider taking a big decision to shift or cancel the IPL. However, the picture will be clear only after a high level meeting of the BCCI on May 9.
